To commemorate a long school year of hard work, Team HBV feasted upon colorful sushi and noodles under the June sunset while laughing about the wonderful memories they have made. Congratulations to the core team for another successful year, and best of luck to our seniors on the next leg of their journey after Stanford!

Team HBV had the sweet opportunity to decorate cookies in the shape of the hepatitis B virus with Youtube star Rachel Fong, creator of Kawaii Sweet World. Team HBV also took this chance to spread awareness for hepatitis screenings and vaccinations on Fong’s large fanbase of 1.2 million subscribers.
Team HBV organized a documentary screening of "Hilleman: A Perilous Quest to Save the World's Children". At the event, Dr. Aruna Subramanian introduced the film and shared her thoughts on Dr. Hilleman, the subject of the film. After the film, a panel consisting of Dr. Aruna Subramanian, Dr. Robert Shafer, and Dr. Susanna Tan led a lively discussion with the audience on vaccines and infectious diseases.
The "Hepatitis B in the Clinic" event was co-hosted by Team HBV, APAMSA, and the Pacific Free Clinic. While enjoying dinner, students got to see a demo in which Dr. Yee Hui Yeo and Dr. Michael Wei explained how to ask about patients' symptoms and how to determine if the patients had Hep B.
